Gymnastics

This week we were lucky enough to have a session at the Marion Leisure Centre in the gymnastics hall. We jumped on trampolines and in the foam pit. We swung of ropes and walked along the beam. We had so much fun!

Worshipping God

We have been learning that people worship God differently. We have looked at the different ways that people pray, the buildings that they use, the books and scrolls they read and the different names that they use for God. Here are our illustrations of the buildings that Christian, Jewish and Muslim people use.

Literacy groups today

Here are some photos of two of our groups hard at work during Literacy groups today.

After their guided reading session with the teacher, the ‘Cyclists’ read their book again to a partner.

The ‘Swimmers’ read an information text yesterday titled ‘Spotty and stripy animal facts’. Today they had to choose four animals and write a fact about each one.

Prepared talks with an Olympic focus

Over the last few weeks,  we have enjoyed presenting and listening to, prepared talks about:

*Olympic events

*Olympic athletes

It has been great to see our speakers showing great eye contact and using a confident voice when speaking to the audience. Keep up the excellent work R/1 Black/Quinn. We look forward to hearing some more prepared talks this week from the boys.
